As most of you know I was diagnosed with depression several years ago and have been taking meds to help stabilize that imbalance. I am also very open about it and a strong believer that talking about mental health is the only way we can diminish the stigma and negativity that surrounds it so every year I participate in this race to continue to add my voice to support what I believe in. I usually don’t participate in the fundraising campaign but seeing as this year has been particularly difficult for everyone thanks to increased isolation and being cut off from each other I thought I’d help a bit more. Running has definitely helped me to keep balanced so I encourage everyone to find some physical activity to help your mental health or if you can’t join me for the run, please feel free to donate.
Love,
Me.
I'm excited to be supporting women’s mental health programs at Montreal General Hospital Foundation by participating in the LOVE YOU by Pharmaprix™ Run for Women.
It’s not easy, but it’s easier together.
As many of us are experiencing, the COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on our mental health. We do the best we can everyday. Sometimes our hearts are on our sleeves, sometimes our hearts are on the ground. But when we put our hearts together, when we’re there for each other, we’re amazing.
Please consider donating to help me reach my fundraising goal. 100% of the fundraising proceeds will go directly to women’s mental health programs in our community.
