Saved By The Bell
“Imagine life is a game in which you are juggling five balls. The balls are called work, family, health, friends, and integrity. And you're keeping all of them in the air. But one day you finally come to understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. The other four balls...are made of glass. If you drop one of these, it will be irrevocably scuffed, nicked, perhaps even shattered.”
James Patterson, Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas
Because of our tribe at work, both in our own school and the greater teaching community, they help us ensure that the rubber ball will always bounce back. They allow us to take care of the other glass balls, especially our health.
The women in our team insprie, each one of us, each and every day to be a better person; partner, friend, parent, child to our parents, and educator. Couldn't do this game called life without them.
Join our tribe, by walking, running or donating to this great cause of women's mental health.
